The Concept of Travel and Tourism from Islamic Perspective.
·
Travel
and tourism are integral to Islamic politic, economic, legal and social
policies.
·
Life
is journey in the way of God thus tourism in Islam stressed the sacred goal of
submission to God's ways.
ISLAM TOURISM.
·
Islamic Tourism is defined as any activity,
event and experience, undertaken in a state of travel that is in accordance
with Islam. Travelling is really highly recommended by the Quran. Allah asked
us to travel through the earth to take the lessons from the other people that
came before us. Most people loved to travelling because it can make us gain
more knowledge about other country and enjoying other countries history.
·
In
Islamic history, travelling by Prophet Muhammad is to spread the Islamic
teaching has encouraged Muslim tourists to travel to learn more about Islamic
thought and civilizations.
·
The
concept of Islamic Tourism also can be considered as ‘Ibadah’ and ‘Dakwah where
the tourist goes to travel from one place to another place.
·
The
Islamic tourism concept can be found from Islamic Fiqh as Performing Haji,
Performing Umrah, Musafr and Jihad
·
Travelling
is highly recommended by the Quran.
·
Allah
asked us to travel through the earth to take the lessons from the other people
that came before us and it
covers a wide variety of different travel purposes.
HALAL TOURISM CONCEPT.
It is recently noted that
there is a challenge to identify the right terminologies as well as the proper
clarification Halal tourism concept. At the moment the most commonly-used terms
are ‘Halal tourism’ and `Islamic tourism’. Due to the multidisciplinary scope
of the subject matter, there exist confusions regarding the two terms. As a
result, the terms are often used interchangeably by researchers in both
conceptual and empirical papers as if the two concepts are
similar.
The positive reflection
from this article is we can see that if we travel using Islamic culture, our
journey while travel will be more smooth and relaxing. We also can get to know
more about any countries, their religion and about their food. For example, if we
go to Brunei, we can see their society different with others countries even
though they are Islam country. It is because they using ‘Hudud’ law in their country.
Not only positive
things there are also have negative
side. The negative side from this case is about the food. We hard to find any
halal food if we travel not using Islamic perspectives. For example, if go to
non-muslim country such as America, United Kingdom. This two place is really
hard to find any halal food.
In my suggestion to avoid
this problem is, for the government, they should have organized campaign about
travel and tourism in Islamic perspective in every state. This may help us to
be more up to date about tourism and traveler.
