I would like to choose the
title of tourism products and packages for Muslim travelers because the title
was explain about activities that can do permissible under Islamic law.
Besides, the new product in tourism is Halal tourism which is defined as
provides holiday destinations for Muslim families who abide by Sharia rules.
For the example, the accommodation such as the hotel that the tourist stay do
not serve any alcohol and have separate swimming pool for men and women. It is
also can booked a flight that have prayer timing are announced and religious
programs are broadcast as part of entertainment offered on board.
The positive aspects of
Halal Tourism are food, destination package and cloth. The first point in Halal
Tourism is food. That defined about how process the food with sharia and cook
the dishes with sharia. That is like many hotel deserve halal food with
slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic sharia and free from
any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol. It has some
difference of cook dishes without Islamic pattern and Islamic pattern that is
the food that cook with the chef will mix with a little bit of alcohol to make
the dishes is taste very nice and with the Islamic pattern is cook the dishes with
Basmallah first and cook with remembrance and joy at the mouth. Besides, the
product that want to use for the cook dishes must from a true side that is
procedure of applied the food.
The second point is
destination package that is Islamic culture and separate place for gender. The
Islamic culture also like do it a large screens in the reception area of the
family’s 4-star hotel advertised the hotel’s facilities, without using female
models. Therefore, tourist can enjoying the beach, the segregated spa
facilities with hear the call to prayer 5 times a day. That also can simply
about creating the right themes, architecture and interior and exterior that
would make them feel easy during their stay. The hotel management also should
have a Qibla pointing signage stuck on the ceiling and prayer mat to allow the
Muslim travelers to perform their prayer.
Last point of aspects of Halal
Tourism is wearing cloth that close with sharia and without bikini. For the
example is some hotel was doing some feature that many women consider that
highlight is an open-air women only swimming pool. That is because to
remarkable how relaxed the women look and most of the women in the hotel are
covered. That also either from the women wore a headscarf or full-face veil. In
the ladies’s pool none of the women were covered, and some were wearing regular
swimming costumes.
Furthermore, the negative
effect of the Halal Tourism is that management has benefited its customers by
charging high prices but its Islamic management has not changed even with the
regular travel manager. This makes every traveler distrustful of every Islamic Package
provided for the purpose of preventing it from happening to him. Later, the
Halal Tourism management package was less favored by tourists due to the
expanding tourism sector. This is because they cannot travel to western
countries such as Australia but they can go to the Turkey, Indonesia and so on.
Therefore, this package is always taken when traveling to Mecca and Medina
during the pilgrimage and umrah season. Finally, tourists are less likely to
take Halal and Islamic tourism due to the lack of places they can visit because
Islamic historical sites are located more in the meadows and arid lands than in
other countries.
In my suggestion, we as
tourists can take Halal Tourism packages as each package has its own
advantages. This is also because we as tourists can learn more about Islam.
However, we as travelers must be wise when deciding which packages to buy such
as first checking whether the package exists or not to prevent any fraud.
Whenever we want to take the package, we can tell the management about the
country we want to go to see if it fits the packages. So when the country is
well suited to travel for the package then we as tourists will feel very
comfortable and at ease while we as tourists will be able to create something
new to the country so that they can also learn about Islam such as edible food
by Muslim people. Lastly, we as travelers must be wise when choosing each
package to avoid any unwanted incidents and as a Muslim it is not wrong to
support Halal Tourism management packages and when we support the agency it
will spread the teachings of Islam with more widespread in all countries.
